Introduction

XJTLU library offers a series of training instruction courses for students to help them become acquainted with pertinent information sources in their disciplines, use the tools effectively, and to refine their information literacy skills. After completion of these training sessions and passed the tests in class, participants would obtain “Effective Information Management Certificate” officially granted by XJTLU library.

Assessment

After completion of these training sessions, the final results are composed of two parts:

Part A: Attendance records. Get 2 points per attendance record. 40 points are suggested and 50 points at most even if a student attend all the sessions during college years.

Part B: Pass the quiz in class. Each class has a quiz; get 1 point per question; 60 points in total are suggested.

The sum of the points you get from Part A and Part B will be your final scores. Students who get more than 80 points can be awarded “Effective Information Management Certificate” by XJTLU library.
