Priority Cataloguing Service is a service to provide access to library materials which have been ordered and received in the library but not yet processed for borrowing. You may check the Library Catalog for the current status of your wanted titles. If the resource location is shown as “Acquisition” and the status as “processing”, you could initiate a Priority Cataloguing Request. You could print and complete the Priority Cataloguing Request Form, then submit it to the Library Service Counter on Level 3 of the Central Building at SIP Campus, or to the Library Service Counter on Level 1 of Building D at Entrepreneur College (Taicang), or by email to Lib-CDD@xjtlu.edu.cn. The form is also available at the aforementioned two counters.
Upon receipt of the Priority Cataloguing Request Form, library staff will process the desired 1 to 5 items within three working days (Note: Counted from the following day of receipt of the request). The user will be notified by email when the item is ready for borrowing (Note: Non-circulating items must only be used in the University Library).
