I once read this quote in a book: Living itself has no inherent meaning. Emptiness is a dilemma we all face during different stages. It is precisely because life swings like a pendulum between emptiness and existence, with pauses that last only fleeting moments, that grasping its balance points becomes so precious. I think this balance point can be understood as finding the Major Goals of Life. Everything we do each day - breathing, creating, dedicating ourselves with patience to any endeavor - is based on our fascination towards it, accumulating materials for it, walking the path to achieve it. And all the misinterpretations others may have will only enrich its footnotes, broadening its conceptual extensions. My heart has already reached a stage of no longer needing self-validation, for the Major Goals of My Life will itself explain the meaning of my existence.
In this Living Library, we have invited 5 guests to share their stories and explore with us the major goals of their lives.
