Recently, XJTLU Library received prestigious recognition in two distinct Jiangsu provincial evaluations, highlighting its outstanding contributions to resource promotion and service innovation. The library's efforts were acknowledged in the evaluation organized by the Resource Development and Sharing Committee of the Jiangsu Library Society, where its project earned third place, as well as in the 2024 Jiangsu University Library Development and Innovation Case list.

In the evaluation organized by the Resource Development and Sharing Committee of the Jiangsu Library Society, XJTLU Library’s project, "University Library Marketing and Digital Resource Promotion: XJTLU Library’s E-Discovery Week for Promoting Electronic Resources," won third prize. Spearheaded by Ms Mingfei Gong, Ms Liping Yang, and Ms Lulu Wang, the project featured a week-long series of activities to spotlight the library’s rich digital resources.  Highlights included the E-Discovery Challenge, e-resource training courses,  and InfoClinic sessions, which garnered enthusiastic participation from faculty and students.    The event significantly enhanced users' awareness and proficiency in utilizing digital resources, contributing to a notable increase in resource usage.

Additionally, the library’s project, "Integrating Intelligence to Co-create AI-empowered Services: A New Vision for XJTLU Library," was selected for the 2024 Jiangsu University Library Development and Innovation Case list. Led by Dr. Xin Bi, this project explored the integration of AI technologies into library services, paving the way for a smart library model. Applications included AI assistants for academic consultations, personalized recommendations, and reading assistance, which greatly improved service efficiency and user experience. Furthermore, the project organized AI literacy workshops and learning days, fostering a deeper understanding and application of AI technologies among users.

These achievements highlight the library’s dedication to advancing resource development and service innovation. They also serve as a model for other university libraries in Jiangsu. Moving forward, XJTLU Library will continue to embrace innovation, striving to enhance its services and resources to better support its academic community.
