On September 24, 2025, during a Library visit to the School of CHIPS, Professor Wei Chen, Dean of the School of CHIPS at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU),  donated one copy each of his authored books Nanoparticle Based Therapeutics and Nanoparticle Based Therapeutics – Volume II to the University Library.

Professor Chen is a Fellow of the U.S. National Academy of Inventors and has long been engaged in pioneering research in nanotechnology. He has an extensive record of publications in leading international journals such as Advanced Materials, PNAS, and Nano Letters, and has received multiple academic honors.

The two volumes cover advanced topics including photodynamic therapy, microwave-induced photodynamic therapy, nano cryotherapy, and nanomedicine for diabetes detection and treatment. Written in a clear and accessible style, they will serve as valuable resources for both students and academics.

The donated copies will be made available for borrowing following the National Day break.
