XJTLU Library presents it's First “e-Discovery Week” Activity
The Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University Library presents its first “e-Discovery Week” activity. This activity is aimed at enhancing student and staff’s information literacy awareness and ability.It contains some activities, training courses and prize draws.
Event Location: Main entrance hall of XJTLU Library
Event Time: 12th- 16th October 2015
Activity 1: The E-Resource Booths: 20 e-resource booths are set up at the Library’s main entrance hall, showcasing some featured electronic resources within the Library’s collection.
Activity 2: Training Workshops: Interested in the digital resources of the Library? This activity offers workshops and presentations by invited experts. View the detailed timetable here.
Activity 3: eDiscovery Week Online Searching Contest
Participants will get a chance to win the following exciting prizes by meeting the requirements:
The 1st Prize (1 person): Kindle electronic reader + premium protective cover
The 2nd Prize (2 people): Laser recording pen
The 3rd Prize (5 people): eDiscovery gift packs (containing various gifts)
The Commemorative Prize (20 people): MI USB lights
Activity 4: “eDiscovery Week Footprints” Final Prize Draw
Participants will enter a big prize draw with a chance of winning the following exciting prizes by collecting eDiscovery Week footprint stamps :
The 1st Prize (1 person): Kindle electronic reader + premium protective cover
The 2nd Prize (2 people): Mobile hard disk drive
The 3rd Prize (5 people): eDiscovery gift packs (containing various gifts)
The Commemorative Prize (20 people): MI USB lights
Off-site Activity: Sina Weibo Interaction and Gift Giving
Participants can collect their gifts at the information desk of the event by showing their Weibo post via mobile phone. 200 gifts will be handed out on a “first come, first serve” basis.
