Extension of Library Opening Hours from 16th December 2019 to 8th January 2020

Please kindly take note that the Library will extend the opening hours to accommodate the study needs of students for the coming examination period from
Monday 16th December 2019 to Wednesday 8th January 2020.
Library will be open in the following time slots:
8:00 – 24:00 Monday to Sunday
(Library Service Counter and staff will not be working during the extended hours:
22:00-24:00 from Monday to Sunday and 8:00-9:00 from Saturday to Sunday)
The area will be available during the extended hours:
1st floor and 3rd floor, Library, Central Building
Please also be reminded:
Access to the Library is restricted to XJTLU staff and students only during the extended hours.
The 1st and 3rd floor of the library will be available for self-study during the extended hours. All service counters and space from the 4th to 10th floor will be closed outside the normal operating hours. If you want to borrow or return books during the extended hours please use the self-service machine on the first floor.
Group Study Rooms will be closed during the extended hours, any discussions please kindly go to the Discussion Allowed Area on the 1st floor.
During the extended hours, the security guard will be authorized to remind the patron if he/she takes any Library books and security guard reserves the right to check patron’s bag when the security gate alarm is triggered.
Reminders will be given by security guard to student at 24:00 when the library is going to be closed on that day.
Please take care of your personal belongings. The Library is not responsible for any loss or damage of personal belongings left unattended in the Library. The library is not responsible for any personal hurt or injury suffered by user inside the library.
In case of any emergency (outside the normal operating hours), please contact Property Management Office at 0512-88161066.
Any patrons who do not abide by the Library rules and regulations will be reported to the Library and be kept on record.
