EndNote X9 is a software that allows you to keep track of your citations, organise them into folders, and create references and bibliographies in your papers. Library instruction sessions supply the EndNote basic tutorial on referencing. This workshop will deliver:

1. Two ways to import a reference from Discover and online databases
2. How to create a custom group and add references to it
3. How to insert a reference in a Word document
4. How to format the bibliography
5. How to add page numbers to a citation

Outcomes: 

After this workshop, you are expected to be able to:

1. Import references to EndNote X9 from Library databases

2. Use EndNote X9 to create citations and reference lists for your papers

3. Use other functions avalibale in EndNote X9 to better manage your references
