World Scientific Publishing (世界科技出版社) will host an online lecture regarding how to write scientific journal articles, tailoring for staff and students who are interested in publishing academic papers.

Speaker Bio

Raymond L. Boxman, Professor of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Tel Aviv University, IEEE Fellow, Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Plasma Science, has presented about 500 scientific papers at conferences or in technical journals, as well as eleven patents. In 2000, Boxman was presented with the Walter Dyke Award.

The webinar (online via Zoom) will present a recipe for writing good “research reports”, including theses, internal reports, and especially journal papers. The critical elements of each section of the “research report” will be reviewed, and content, organisation, and style conventions will be discussed.
