For your convenience and to avoid any overdue fines during the summer holiday (if you were out of university and could not return the books), the Library will extend the loan period for books during the coming summer holiday. Please kindly pay attention to the loan period adjustment shown as below: Any checked-out library item which the due date is one of the days from 31st May 2021 to 9th September 2021 will all be extended to 10th September 2021. And please make sure your borrowings are returned before the due date (10th September 2021) to avoid overdue fines.

After 10th September 2021, if you are still not able to return to university on time to return books, the Library suggests that you renew borrowed books online before the due date through http://opac.xjtlu.edu.cn.  If you have any problems with renewing items online, please send an Email to library-service@xjtlu.edu.cn for help.

为了避免暑假中有些同事或同学借阅图书产生超期（因离开学校不能到馆归还图书），图书馆对图书借期做了以下延期设置：读者图书账户中图书到期日在2021年5月31日至9月9日之间的，图书应还日期统一延期至2021年9月10日。请您确保图书在到期日（2021年9月10日）之前归还，以免因为超期产生罚金。

如果在2021年9月10日之后，有同事或同学仍然无法返回学校，图书馆建议您进入图书馆目录检索系统http://opac.xjtlu.edu.cn，在归还日期之前进行在线续借图书。如果您在网上续借时遇到任何问题可以发邮件至library-service@xjtlu.edu.cn。
