XJTLU Library offers "Inter-Branch Book Delivery" service between SIP Campus and Taicang Campus. If all copies of the item you want to borrow are not available or they are on loan on your campus, and the item on other campuses is in the status of "in stock"; or if the item you need is from “Restricted Resources”, then you can use the “Inter-Branch Delivery” function in the Library Catalogue System to request the item. The Inter-Branch Delivery quota for each user is 8.
为满足苏州园区校区和太仓校区师生对异地馆藏和密集书库馆藏的需求,图书馆提供两校区间的“委托借阅”服务。对于本校区图书馆无馆藏或可借复本已被全部借出,但在其他校区图书馆有馆藏且为“可借”状态的图书;或者馆藏地为“密集书库”的图书,您可通过图书馆书目检索系统中的“委托借阅”功能申请该书。在校师生每人最多可委托借阅8本图书。
The Inter-Branch Book Delivery request is valid for 7 days. You will receive an email notification for request cancellation if the requested item(s) cannot be found. A reminder will be sent to you when the requested item(s) is/are ready for collection. Please go to the Library Circulation Desk at the selected pickup location to check it out within 7 days. Otherwise, the Inter-Branch Book Delivery request will be automatically cancelled. Please note that failure to pick up the requested items for 3 times would result in temporary suspension of your Inter-Branch Book Delivery service privilege for 30 days.
委托借阅申请有效期为7天。如因特殊情况图书馆未能找到您所申请的图书,您会收到申请被取消的邮件通知。当委托借阅的图书到馆后,图书馆将以邮件形式通知您至申请时所选择的取书地的流通服务台借阅此书。委托借阅的图书在服务台保留7天,逾期未借阅则申请自动取消,并视为违约。违约累计达3次者,将会被暂停使用委托借阅服务30天。
1. Login to the Library Catalogue System at https://opac.xjtlu.edu.cn using your XJTLU username and password.
使用学校用户名和密码登录图书馆书目检索系统https://opac.xjtlu.edu.cn。
2. Click “Search” and search the item by title, author, call number or ISBN, etc.
点击“书目检索”,在搜索栏中通过题名、作者、索书号或ISBN等查询图书。
3. Click on your desired item in the search results to check its detailed information.
在搜索结果页面点击相关的图书链接,查看该图书的详细信息。
4. Click "Inter-Branch Delivery" at the detail page of the item.
在该图书的详细信息页中,点击“委托申请”。
5. Click “Action” after viewing the “Pickup Circulation Desk”, and then click the “Submit” button.
确认“取书地”信息后执行“委托”,完成后点击“提交”。
6. The message “Request successfully! You can check the processing status in ‘My Library’.” will be displayed if the request is successful.
若申请成功,系统会自动弹出“申请成功!您可以通过‘我的图书馆’查看办理进度”的提示。
The request cannot be processed if:
如出现以下情况委托借阅将不会成功:
1. Login at “My Library” in the Library Catalogue System via https://opac.xjtlu.edu.cn using your XJTLU username and password.
使用学校用户名和密码通过图书馆书目检索系统https://opac.xjtlu.edu.cn登录“我的图书馆”。
2. Click “Inter-Branch Delivery” on the left side of the “My Library” page.
在“我的图书馆”页面左侧,点击“委托信息”。
3. Select the requested item(s) you want to cancel, and click the “Cancel” button.
选取您想要取消委托借阅的项目,然后点击“取消”。
