Reminder for RefWorks Upgrade Migration – legacy RefWorks will end service soon
Library Resources
17 April 2023, Monday

Dear patrons,

We would like to remind you that the legacy RefWorks will NO longer be available as of June 2023, and RefWorks only maintains its new version since then. You can access (new) RefWorks via Library’s Databases A-Z and create account with your XJTLU email address.

If you need transfer your references and records from legacy RefWorks to (new) RefWorks, please follow this guide: Upgrading from Legacy RefWorks to RefWorks guide and complete the upgrade before 31 May 2023.

Please be noted that:

  • Any folders that were publicly shared in legacy RefWorks should be shared again in (new) RefWorks after upgrading.
  • If you have already started writing a paper using the Write-n-Cite plugin for legacy RefWorks, you should NOT try to finish it using the plugin for (new) RefWorks. This may cause formatting errors. If you have an upcoming paper, consider upgrading to (new) RefWorks first. If you have already started a paper using legacy RefWorks, especially using Write-n-Cite, finish it first and then upgrade to (new) RefWorks.
  • You may find RefWorks User Guide and more RefWorks Support helpful.
