You may occasionally encounter the following privacy error message when using the Discover search service:

Your connection is not private (or similar messages in Chinese: 您的连接不是私密/安全连接).

If you experience this issue, please try one of the following steps and then search again in Discover:

• Clear your browser cookies, or
• Use your browser's private/incognito mode

This issue is typically resolved after one of the above steps.

We are actively collaborating with the Discover service vendor and the university's IT services to identify and address the root cause of this issue. If you encounter additional errors while using Discover, please send details and screenshots to askalibrarian@xjtlu.edu.cn to help us investigate further.
