You may occasionally encounter the following privacy error message when accessing certain databases on campus:
"Your connection is not private" (or similar messages in Chinese: 您的连接不是私密/安全连接).
If you experience this issue on campus, please try one of the following steps and access to the database again:
- Clear your browser cookies, or
- Use your browser's private/incognito mode, or
- Change to a different network, such as 5G mobile network.
We are actively collaborating with the university's IT services to identify and resolve the root cause of this issue. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
If you experience additional errors while using Discover or other databases, please send the details and screenshots to askalibrarian@xjtlu.edu.cn to assist us with further investigation.
