On the 19th of November 2020, a group of 6 people including Yunzhong JIANG, Tsinghua University library’s Party Committee Secretary, and Tianfang DOU, deputy director of the Tsinghua University library, visited the XJTLU library to develop communication. Dr. Xin BI, Director of Centre for Knowledge and Information and the University Librarian, extended a warm welcome to the visiting colleagues from Tsinghua University Library. Accompanied by Dr. Xin BI, the library colleagues of Tsinghua University visited the XJTLU campus and library. Thereafter, the two libraries held a communication symposium attended by Yang Liping and Teng Chao, both deputy University Librarian of the XJTLU library.

2020年11月19日，清华大学图书馆党委书记蒋耘中、副馆长窦天芳等一行6人来到西交利物浦大学图书馆进行访问交流。西浦知识与信息中心主任暨图书馆馆长毕新博士对清华大学图书馆同仁的到访表示热烈欢迎，在毕新博士的陪同下，清华大学图书馆同仁参观了西浦校园和图书馆。随后双方举办了座谈交流，我馆杨丽萍副馆长和滕超副馆长等参加了座谈。

At the symposium, Secretary Yunzhong JIANG introduced the Library space, collection, history, special collections and organizational structure of Tsinghua University library, and Dr. Xin BI introduced the administrative structure, committee structure, relationship with the two alma maters, library information technology services, and services provided by the XJTLU library in regards to teaching materials and resources during the pandemic period. Deputy Director Tianfang DOU shared Tsinghua University's data integration, and academic output data services undertaken by the library. Afterwards, the two sides exchanged, shared and discussed electronic resource assessment, institutional repository, RFID, seat management systems and other related issues, and thus hoped to strengthen the exchange and cooperation between the two libraries.

座谈会上，蒋耘中书记介绍了清华图书馆的馆舍、馆藏、历史、特藏和组织架构；毕新博士对西浦图书馆的行政架构、委员会架构、与两个母校的关系、图书馆信息化服务和疫情时期图书馆对教学教材、资源保障做出的服务进行了介绍；窦天芳副馆长分享了清华大学的基于数据整合业务工作，及其图书馆所承担的学术成果产出数据服务。 随后，双方就电子资源评估、机构知识库、RFID、座位管理系统等有关事宜进行了经验交流、分享与探讨，并希望两校图书馆之间加强交流与合作。

This exchange took place against the background of the 14th five-year plan, and as such the exchange focused on the theme of "Exchange and Learning Management Styles, exploring a new mode of Education - International University in China". The exchange broadened the horizons and ideas of both sides, strengthened the connection between the two libraries, and built a bridge for our library to learn from leading libraries in the industry, and constantly improve its business level services, which is of positive significance to the future work of our library.

本次访问交流是在十四五规划的背景下，围绕“交流学习管理模式，探讨教育新模式——中国土地上的国际大学”这一主题进行的探讨，拓宽了双方的视野和思路，增强了两馆之间的联系，也为今后我馆向业内领先图书馆学习经验、不断提升自身业务水平搭建了桥梁，对我馆未来工作开展具有积极意义。
