On April 26, XJTLU Intellectual Property Information Service Center(IPISC) started the publicity activities in the library. Various forms of activities, including an online intellectual property challenge and an offline exhibition of patents that shaped the modern world, are popular with students.
15 patents with historical significance and important impact on human lives selected by China National Intellectual Property Administration. The exhibits are located on the 3rd to 9th floors of the library.
More than 600 people have participated in the online challenge. Students said, "The exhibition is close to our lives, from which we learned that some common items around us have such an unusual invention process"; "The challenge is very interesting, helping us understand the basics of patent and search methods ."
Through the exhibition and the challenge, we popularized the basic knowledge of intellectual property to staff and students, demonstrated the close relationship between intellectual property and human life and production, and helped teachers and students enhance their awareness of intellectual property protection.
