The XJTLU Library Student Committee Meeting was successfully held on April 26, 2023 at 2:00 PM in room 153 of the library. The purpose of this meeting was to build an effective communication and exchange platform between the library and readers, to listen to their feedback, address their needs, and improve the quality of service. The Deputy University Librarian, Chao TENG, and representatives from various departments attended the meeting. Reader representatives were selected from different grades of students with the highest borrowing volumes or visiting times.

2023年度图书馆学生事务委员会会议于4月26日14点在图书馆互动空间153召开。本次会议旨在搭建图书馆与读者之间面对面沟通与交流的有效桥梁，以此为平台，倾听读者心声，急读者所急，关注读者需求，切实提升服务质量。图书馆副馆长滕超以及各部门馆员代表出席了会议。读者代表选自各年级学生中最高借阅量与最高到馆次数的读者。

During the meeting, the library representatives introduced the inter-branch book delivery service for convenient retrieval of books from both the Suzhou and Taicang campuses, the renovation and implement of the RFID throughout the library, and the “XJTLU Readers”event. The reader representatives also actively participated in the discussion and provided valuable opinions and suggestions on the library's work, mainly focused on: the advance reservation time for the group study rooms; the feasibility and implement areas of the upgraded library seat booking system; the purchase and retrieval of books and journals in the library; the maintenance and optimization of existing equipment in the library, such as the self-study table socket and turnstile functions; the use and training of digital resources in the library; the environment and hygiene of the library. The library leadership and representatives from various departments carefully listened to these opinions and suggestions and provided detailed answers one by one. For long-standing problems that are difficult to solve, the library has been working on finding solutions and will make every effort to bring the service to a new level.

本次会议上，馆员代表向读者介绍了提供园区与太仓校区两地书籍调阅的委托借阅服务，全馆RFID设备的改造与应用以及西浦朗读者活动。读者代表同样踊跃发言，对图书馆工作提出诸多宝贵的意见与建议。主要集中在：1. 小组讨论室提前预约的时间；2、座位预约系统升级后的可行性与推广范围；2 图书馆书籍与期刊的采购与检索；3、图书馆现有设备如自习桌插座、闸机功能的维修与优化；4、图书馆数字资源的使用培训；5、图书馆的环境与卫生等。图书馆领导及各部门代表馆员认真听取了这些意见和建议，逐一进行了详细解答。图书馆一直在为长期存在的问题构思解决方案，并将竭尽所能将服务推向新的水平。

At the end of the meeting, the library leaders presented "Reading Superstar" and "Top Library Visitor" certificates to student representatives, thanking them for their active suggestions and contributions to the development of the library. The library will continue to improve its services, address issues, optimize strategies, and constantly enhance its collection resources and service quality, striving to work with readers to promote the construction of XJTLU Library and improve reader satisfaction.

会议尾声，图书馆领导向学生代表颁发“阅读达人”“泡馆达人”奖状，感谢各位读者代表积极建言献策，为图书馆共谋发展。图书馆将持续改进服务、跟进问题、优化对策，不断提升馆藏资源与服务质量，提升读者满意度，力求与读者共同推动西浦图书馆的建设。
