2023年8月21日，上海交通大学图书馆馆长李新碗、党委书记刘建新一行17人来到西交利物浦大学图书馆进行访问交流。西浦图书馆副馆长杨丽萍和副馆长滕超对上海交通大学图书馆同仁的到访表示热烈欢迎，在滕超副馆长的陪同下，上海交通大学同仁参观了西浦图书馆，随后双方开展了座谈交流。

On August 21, 2023, a group of 17 people including Xinwan Li, the University Librarian of Shanghai Jiao Tong University library, and Jianxin Liu, Shanghai Jiao Tong University library’s Party Committee Secretary visited the library at Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University to develop communication. Yang Liping, Deputy University Librarian of XJLTU, and Teng Chao, Deputy University Librarian of XJLTU expressed their appreciation for the visit of Shanghai Jiao Tong University library staffs. Accompanied by Teng Chao, the Librarians of Shanghai Jiao Tong University library visited the library of XJLTU, then both of them had a discussion and exchanged ideas.

座谈会上，上海交通大学图书馆李新碗馆长首先表达了此次来访目的，并简单介绍了此次来访同仁。随后，杨丽萍副馆长向来访同仁介绍了西浦图书馆的概况、组织架构、运行机制等。在会议交流环节，双方就提升学生借阅量、读者服务与特色空间服务、教学支持服务、学科服务与研究支持、数据治理与数据服务和未来学习中心建设等内容进行了深入交流与探讨。参会双方均表示此次交流收获颇丰，并希望两校图书馆之间能加强交流与合作。

During the meeting, Director Xinwan Li expressed the purpose of this visit and briefly introduced his colleagues firstly. Subsequently, Deputy Director Yang Liping introduced the overall overview, organizational structure, and operational mechanism of XJTLU Library. Both parties had in-depth exchanges and discussions on improvement of student borrowing, user services and space services, teaching support services, academic and research support, data management and data services, and the construction of future learning center. Both sides expressed that this discussion has achieved fruitful results and hoped to strengthen the exchange and cooperation between the two libraries.

本次访问交流活动，不仅加深了两校图书馆之间的交流与了解，也为双方今后的合作提供了新的契机和动力。

This visit and exchange activity not only deepened communication and understanding between the two university libraries, but also provided new opportunities and impetus for future cooperation between the two Libraries.
