On the 17th of June 2020, Zhen QIU, deputy director of Suzhou Industrial Park library, and colleagues visited the XJTLU Library accompanied by the XJTLU Library deputy director Chao TENG. During the visit, deputy director Chao TENG introduced the general workings of the Library and afterwards the two sides held an exchange forum attended by Xin BI (Director of Centre for Knowledge and Information and the University Librarian) and Liping YANG (deputy director of the XJTLU Library).

2020年6月17日，苏州工业园区图书馆邱振副馆长一行来到西交利物浦大学图书馆进行参观访问。首先在我馆滕超副馆长的陪同下，对图书馆进行了参观，参观过程中，滕副馆长介绍了西交利物浦大学图书馆的基本概况。随后双方举办了交流座谈会，我馆毕新馆长和杨丽萍副馆长参加了座谈。

At the forum, deputy director Zhen QIU introduced the development status and vision of Suzhou Industrial Park library, and asked our library for projects to partake that could benefit XJTLU teachers and students. The deputy director then shared detailed experiences on the development of intellectual property services and the use of RFID, and conveyed willingness to cooperate where resources complement both libraries. In response, the XJTLU library presented an introduction to the library’s construction of collection resources.

座谈会上，邱振副馆长介绍了苏州工业园区图书馆的发展现状和愿景，向我馆征求能为西浦师生服务的项目，并对我馆咨询的知识产权服务的开展情况，RFID投入使用的情况做了详细的经验分享，同时传达了资源互补的合作意愿。我馆向工业园区图书馆介绍了我馆的馆藏资源建设的基本情况。

Deputy director Zhen QIU highly appreciated the working concept and achievements of the XJTLU Library under the leadership of director Xin BI, and hoped to promote the library’s cultural prosperity. As such, the following cooperation intentions were put forward:

邱振副馆长对毕新馆长带领下西浦图书馆所形成的工作理念、工作成果表示高度赞赏。希望共同促进图书馆界的文化繁荣。具体提出了以下合作意愿：

First, the Industrial Park library will integrate essential university resources and build an online curriculum platform in this area, hoping the XJTLU Library could provide elite teaching resources, such as famous literary works and online open classes.

第一，工业园区图书馆会整合高校精华资源，搭建一个区内的在线课程平台，希望我馆可以提供一些老师的精华资源，如名师名著和线上公开课。

Secondly, the Industrial Park Library hoped to set up a borrow and return point in the XJTLU library, so as to allow XJTLU students to borrow Chinese books that are not available in the XJTLU library. This will be availble via the ShuXiang SIP district app or the Suzhou Industrial Park Public Cultural Center official WeChat account.

第二，工业园区图书馆希望在西浦图书馆设置一个借还点，以方便西浦学生借阅我馆没有的中文书籍。在书香园区app或苏州工业园区公共文化中心的微信公众号可以实现借还操作。

The two sides held in depth exchanges on the above topics and will further communicate in the future. We hoped to achieve mutual benefits and develop on common interests in future cooperation projects!

双方就以上话题进行了深入交流，后续还将进一步沟通。希望在未来拟合作项目中实现互补双赢、共同发展！
