This event is a unique opportunity for international students to share national classics or personal favorite books from your home countries, bringing together a tapestry of cultures through the power of books.

Two Ways to Participate

1. Recommend a Book from Your Home Country

You can share a national classic or personal favorite book from your home country that is already part of the library resources or suggest the book from your country for the library to purchase that you’d love to see added to the library collection.

2. Donate Your Own Book from Your Home Country

You can donate your favorite book from your home country to the library. Donated books must be clean and unmarked.

How to Donate Your Personal Book

Please bring your own book to the Circulation Desk of XJTLU Library (SIP Campus and Taicang Campus), and fill out the donation form on-site.

Important Notes: All recommendations and donations will undergo a content review by XJTLU Library. Books that fail the review will not be added to the library collection, and donations or recommendations will not proceed.

What Will Happen with Your Recommendations or Donations?

All recommended or donated books will be compiled into a curated reading list, showcasing the wealth of global resources available in our library. We look forward to seeing your recommendations or donations and creating a window to the world right here at XJTLU Library!
