Library adds 38 Carrel Desks on 8th Floor Open for Booking

To ensure the fair use of the limited seat resources in the library as well as to enhance the utilization rate of seats and create a conducive learning environment, the library will incorporate the carrel desks on the 8th floor (Library at SIP Campus) into the seat booking system in the new semester. This area is located on the west side of the 8th floor of the library and is designated as an absolute quiet zone. It consists of 38 separate individual seats with partitions, providing users with a quiet and comfortable learning environment.

Readers can make seat reservations in two ways:

1. Scan the QR code on the table via WeChat to make the same day reservation.

2. Access to the Library Seat Booking System（https://seatbookings.xjtlu.edu.cn）via library homepage or XJTLU Library WeChat official account to reserve a seat for the same day or the next day.

Currently, the library has opened seat reservation areas including the entire 7th floor and the carrel desk areas on the 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 8th floors. Other areas still operate on a first-come, first-served basis.

38个单人自习座位开放预约

        为保证图书馆有限的公共资源被合理利用，提高馆内座位利用率，营造良好的学习氛围，西浦图书馆（工业园区校园）在新学期又开放了38个单人自习座位供预约使用。该区域位于图书馆8楼西，属于绝对安静区域，共计38个独立的设有隔板的单人座位，为用户创造了安静舒适的学习环境。

        读者可通过以下两种方式预约座位：

        1. 通过微信扫描桌面上的座位二维码，直接预约当日座位。

        2.  通过图书馆主页或“西交利物浦大学图书馆”微信公众号进入图书馆座位预约系统（https://seatbookings.xjtlu.edu.cn），预约当日或次日座位。

        目前，图书馆已开放的座位预约区域包括：7楼全区域以及3楼、4楼、5楼、8楼单人自习桌区域。其余区域仍遵循先到先得的原则。
