On April 6th, 2025, a newly installed showcase wall featuring the spirit and culture of the University of Liverpool was unveiled on the first floor of the XJTLU Library.

This wall serves as a symbol of the enduring partnership between Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) and the University of Liverpool (UoL). By showcasing the iconic architecture and key information of UoL, it provides XJTLU students, faculty, and visitors with a unique opportunity to connect with the culture and heritage of UoL. At the same time, it strengthens UoL’s presence and influence within XJTLU.

“We are pleased to unveil this new showcase wall, which highlights the close relationship between two universities,” said Chao TENG, the deputy University Librarian. “From a library perspective, the XJTLU Library and the University of Liverpool Library have already aligned the efforts and will continue to strengthen the collaboration, working together on initiatives that promote cultural exchanges, benefiting both faculty and students at our two universities.”

Xiaoqiong Li, the Liverpool Mobility Manager mentioned, “As the physical and symbolic heart of academic life, the library provides the ideal setting to showcase the culture of UoL. Moving forward, we will host regular information sessions and alumni talks here to help students gain a deeper understanding of UoL and the 2+2program’s unique benefits.”
