In response to student needs for more quiet study space, the Library at SIP campus has repurposed part of its collection area to create 76 new individual study carrels on Level 10. Selected bookshelves have been relocated to the compact stacks for continued use. This ensures the total storage capacity of the library’s collections remains unchanged.

Each study carrel offers a personalized workspace equipped with dedicated lighting, multi-purpose power outlets, storage shelves, and privacy partitions to support focused learning.

This renovation reflects the library's commitment to improving space efficiency and user experience. Further enhancements to facilities and services are planned in the coming months.
