XJTLU's Materials Science Discipline Enters ESI Global Top 1% for the First Time

On January 8, 2026, the latest update from Essential Science Indicators (ESI) revealed that Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) has achieved a significant milestone, with its Materials Science discipline entering the ESI Global Top 1% for the first time.

202618日,基本科学指标(Essential Science Indicators,简称ESI)最新数据显示,西交利物浦大学材料科学学科首次跻身ESI全球前1%榜单。

 

XJTLU now has seven disciplines ranked in the ESI Global Top 1%, including Engineering, Computer Science, Social Sciences (General), Environment/Ecology, Economics & Business, Chemistry, and Materials Science.

西交利物浦大学目前共有七个学科跻身ESI全球前1%,分别是工程学、计算机科学、社会科学(综合)、环境/生态学、经济与商业、化学及材料科学。

 

The University Library has been regularly releasing the ESI Research Performance Report every two months to provide detailed analysis of XJTLU’s disciplinary progress and research competitiveness. These systematic data and analyses support the School in making informed plans for disciplinary development, providing a solid foundation for continued academic advancement. The report includes updated ESI data for all covered disciplines, including Materials Science, and remains available to all students and staff.

图书馆长期以来定期发布《ESI Research Performance Report》,提供我校学科发展及科研竞争力的动态分析。这些数据与分析助力学院在学科发展路径上做出科学规划,为学科持续突破提供坚实的基础。该报告每两月更新一次,涵盖包括材料科学在内的各学科ESI数据,欢迎全校师生读者关注和查阅。
