The XJTLU Library has successfully completed the delivery of PPT and EXCEL online training courses to the students. The online training took place from November 11 to December 17, 2020. Various lessons were taught during the session covering the aspects of PowerPoint slide design and EXCEL data analysis. About 1271 students registered and attended the sessions.

由西交利物浦大学图书馆举办的面向全校学生的Excel和PPT在线培训课程圆满收官。课程从2020年11月11日至2020年12月17日期间共举办了12场Excel数据分析和PowerPoint幻灯片设计课程，有1271名学生参与了课程学习。

Two different lecturers delivered the EXCEL and the PPT courses for the whole sessions. Dealing with Data, the use of common formulas and chart editing aspects of EXCEL were taught in detail by Sunruo WU. Whereas, the design of cover pages and other PPT styles required for the graduating students’ thesis defense were comprehensively taught by Li LU.

整个课程由两位不同的讲师分别讲授。EXCEL基础入门课程的讲师吴孙若老师详细讲解了数据处理、函数公式的运用与图表制作，总结常用操作技巧，并通过案例操作巩固强化。PowerPoint页面设计与实操课程的讲师路立老师详细讲解了封面设计所需的实操技巧和毕业论文答辩的PPT风格及设计方法。

As the Semester 1 of 2020/21 AY turned into hybrid, the Library adopted the dual teaching approach to ensure all the students are given equal and pair learning opportunities irrespective of being on-site or off-site. This is in addition to the convenient and diversified helps offered to the students toward improving their study and work efficiency.

本学期，在转变为混合教学模式后，图书馆采用了双元教学方式，使用在线平台面对面直播授课，确保每一位学生无论在校内还是校外，都能拥有平等的学习机会。图书馆依托网络信息技术，更加便捷、多元化的的为学生提供帮助，提高学生学习、工作效率。

The feedback received from the attended students are very encouraging as they expressed their satisfactions on the invaluable experiences gained out of it. Meanwhile some suggestions to further improve the training sessions in future were welcomed by the tutors. The training sessions ended in cheers!
