Dear Incoming XJTLU Academic Staff,
The XJTLU Library staff will hold a series of library tours over the coming two weeks. The tours will only be one hour long, and are meant to familiarize academic faculty with the XJTLU collection and Library support services.
The tours themselves will include the following:
- An overall tour of the collection
- A discussion of teaching resources available to staff
- A discussion of research resources available to staff
- A discussion of reference and information services available to staff
- A discussion on how staff can request library purchases
- A question and answer session
Each tour will start at the east gate (1st floor) of the Central building. The tours will take no longer than 60 minutes and have been scheduled to avoid conflict with other University induction events.
The tour times are the following:
- Library Tour #1: Tuesday August 20, 11:30am-12:30pm To Register
- Library Tour #2: Thursday August 22, 10-11am To Register
- Library Tour #3: Monday, August 26, 10-11am To Register
If you are interested in attending, please register in advance. If the Library Staff knows your academic specialty, they will be able to better tailor their presentation to your interests!
