Xi'an Jiaotong- Liverpool University Library Assessment Committee administered the first LibQUAL Survey from 14th September to 7th October 2015, gathering feedback from close to 1,100 undergraduates and graduates. Survey results indicate that overall students continue to be satisfied with library resources and services.
The survey measures the following three areas: affect of service, information control and library as place.
According to the survey results, undergraduate and graduate students are most satisfied with:
• A comfortable and inviting location;
• A getaway for study, learning, or research;
• Community space for group learning and group study;
• Quiet space for individual activities;
The results of the survey will pave the way to the right direction for services improvement and also form the basis to measure the standard of the overall services the library provides.
