The ninth E-Discovery Week was successfully held from October 9th to 13th 2023. It is a significant annual library event aimed at promoting electronic resources, which has received considerable positive feedback from academic staff and students at XJTLU for the past eight years.
E-Discovery Week features activities and competitions to introduce students to the wealth of digital resources accessible through the library. These resources include access to more than 3.8 million e-books, 100,000 online journals and above 170 academic databases. Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to participate in this diversity of activities to have a better understanding of the online resources available to them.
From 9th to 13th October, 39 databases exhibition booths were placed in the lobby of the first floor of the library. Lasted for 5 days, we have received 2154 attempts for E-Discovery Challenge, and 274 participants for E-Discovery workshops. The WeChat article “Events丨E-Discovery Week 2023” was read 12465 times and shared 1416 times.
We’ve randomly drawn a total of 43 winners from all participants for the E-Discovery Challenge, 10 winners from all participants for E-Discovery workshops. Congratulations to all winners! Again, we are very grateful for your contribution and looking forward to seeing you in the next year!
