IPDA is dedicated to popularizing intellectual property knowledge for XJTLUers, creating an atmosphere of intellectual property creation, application, and protection within the university, helping students to use intellectual property to protect their intellectual achievements and avoid the risk of infringement in their research and innovation ventures. We will carry out various forms of activities to expand students' ability to apply IP, improve their IP information literacy and enhance their overall innovation ability.
At the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Zhu Jingtian, the president of the association, introduced the organizational structure and activity plan of the association. Ms. Wang Jun, the teacher from XJTLU Intellectual Property Information Service Center (IPISC), shared the importance of intellectual property rights through wonderful practical cases. As special guests, Sun Zhan and Kong Yifan from the student entrepreneurial team "Circle" introduced their experience and how to use IP to find creative inspiration, which inspired the students about the important role of IP in the process of entrepreneurship.
The next step of the IPDA will be to carry out a variety of activities, such as pieces of training, competitions, salons, and a series of activities around the World Intellectual Property Day every year, aiming to provide a platform for students interested in intellectual property to learn, communicate, research and practice.
IPISC will provide professional guidance to IPDA, to cultivate complex talents in intellectual property, and to enhance the innovation ability and intellectual property information literacy of XJTLU students and teachers!
